I saw this little beauty the other day for $7.00, SCORE!!! A little bit of paint did it wonders and now I have a new coffee table.
Ok so here is the $5.00 headboard that I have been working on. I got it all painted and sanded and then my wonderful father-in law came for Thanksgiving and him and Ken cut out the wood and stapled the fabric and the batting to go on the inside. I think it turned out really well and I love the way it looks.

I LOVE this! What kind of paint are you using, and is there a tutorial in how to make the headboard? Where did you get your blue fabric from..OK CRAIGSLIST...I have been scared of that! WHAT do you look under...? Like accent pieces...? YOU are so talented!!
SOOOOO cute Jen! I LOVE both! You do such cute things. I can't wait until Steve and I can get into a house of our own (hopefully soon this year) so I can have some fun like that. I have a bunch of blogs where creative ladies are doing this kind of stuff all the time and I just browse and day dream. :)
