Cookies are not cutting it, I need CHOCOLATE!

Easter

Well I know that Easter was last week but I wanted to put the girls Easter pictures up. We had a great Easter, Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen came down from Utah and we had a great time with them. We love having them and the girls love them so much. Here are just a few of the many pictures that were taken, and no that is not dog poop on our grass, we just had the yard aerated the day before and it does not look to good in the photos. Also yes that is a Snow White costume Ellie is wearing, once again the clothes saga continues.

"cookies"

ugh, why do I have to be so computer illiterate? This whole blog thing is really confusing, something about my "cookies" are messed up, (I'm like what cookies, who's got cookies) so instead of taking my frustrations out on the computer I went and made my own cookies. My sister-in law Jen gave me this recipe for sugar cookies and they are the best.

1 1/2/ cups sugar
2 cubes butter
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
cream butter and sugar, add egg, sour cream and vanilla. Mix and add dry ingredients. Roll out and shape into shapes and bake at 425 for 5-6 minutes.

A Style All Her Own

Ok, so a few weeks ago, well let me first start out by saying our daughter Ellie for those of you who don't know is a very strong willed little girl. So every morning we battle it out on what to wear for the day. On this day she woke up wanting to wear her favorite shirt, skirt and pants and to top it all off she wanted a ski hat when it was not even snowing. On days when we have nothing planned it's no big deal, on the other hand when we venture into town I have to intervene, well not this day. She wore this outfit all day long to the store, visiting teaching and some errands around town. (note to self...hide Ellies clothes)

Well here goes nothing... I have now joined the blog space. After a few subtle hints from friends (Darby, Aubony and Kori) not to mention any names, it is official. The Sorensens now have a place on the Internet to bore you with crazy stories of our life and pretend to be normal. So for all those interested stay tuned for further programming.
