Hair cut

Yesterday I was so excited, I was going to get a much needed haircut. First of all the lady that cuts my hair was running almost 1 hour behind (lucky for me it was a much needed break from the kids, bad thing was is that I feel sorry to my friend Aubony who had to watch them). Then when it was my turn I explained that I just wanted a trim and to get rid of the little flip I had going on in the back, I think I have had the flip since high school (you know the Rachel from "Friends" haircut). Anyways when I walked out I was like "shock and aw" she ended up cutting probably 4 inches off. I have to say that I was a little bit mad but today I'm totally loving it.

Ken, do you want some popcorn with that movie?

Ken is a great dad and loves his girls very much, even though at times having all girls in the house can put him into embarrassing moments. The other day Ellie wanted to watch a movie on his laptop. She wanted to watch "My Little Pony's" definitely not up for any Oscars. Well then the movie was over and she went to bed. Ken completely forgot that the movie was still in his laptop and he goes into work to give a presentation, pulls out the good old laptop and connects it to the projector for his meeting. Well instead of his presentation popping up all of the sudden the My Little Pony movie starts playing to a room full of business men. "uh excuse me guys, my daughter must of been watching this". The funny thing is that one of the guys in the meeting gets up and goes to his laptop and pulls out a Barbie Movie. I was laughing so hard when he called to tell me what happened. (I think secretly he watches Ellie's movies at work, but shh... don't tell him I said that).

What Bedtime?

OK Ken is out of town so that means that I get the house to myself after the kids go to bed, it is my time to unwind and pick a few things up, maybe even get a layout done. But nooooo, Ellie is wide awake and wanting to play. The little stinker comes out of her bedroom all cute and says "mommy I just want to let you know that I am not tired right now, maybe tomorrow I will go to sleep". I am thinking maybe tomorrow I will sell you on EBay now go back to bed. Ya, so I took her picture and that is what she looks like at 9:00 at night. Something tells me there is no "me time" tonight.

Chuck E Cheeses

Friday was our little adventure to Chuck E Cheeses, today is Sunday and I am still tired. Jamie and her little Evelyn came down from Carolina and they are staying at mom and dads. It has been a lot of fun and the girls are having a blast with their cousin. Let me just tell you I even had a blast at Chuckies. I was laughing so hard trying to win tickets all together we got about 600 tickets, so it was really fun for the girls to pick out little prizes. We left just exhausted which was my plan so they could take a long nap. It was a great day and the girls are already asking to go back.

Where's Presley?

Today Presley has now discovered the world of the video cabinet. This is her new favorite thing to do and forget spending money on new toys she is perfectly content playing with the movies. Now if I could just stop Ellie from closing the doors on her and shutting her in.

Blog saga continues

Ok, this is how sick and crazy I am... I wanted a blog that matches my home, so putting all frustrations aside I decided to make peace with the computer and attempt this decorating the blog thing one final time. All I have to say is Mission Accomplished- Over and Out.

Sunday with the crazys

Well church is always quite the ordeal on Sundays. Let me just tell you there have been many of Sundays we just load the girls back up into the car and head home quickly before anyone sees us -this was one of those Sundays were you just want to find the nearest pew that is empty and occupy it all by yourself and then pretend that you don't know your family is over there crying over spilled Cheerios. Some Sundays I swear the Bishop just looks over at our family because he needs a good laugh. So today not only was Ellie belting out the hymns trying to make her voice louder than the congregation (which by the way she has no idea what the words are), she also found a piece of paper, not a big deal right? Wrong, she then waded up the paper and chucked it across the bench in front of us hitting a nice elderly women on the back of her head, that was the point where I suddenly looked behind us as if it came from the other family with the rowdy kids. I tell ya some Sundays I could just hide.
On a lighter note the sun was out today and pretty much just a great day to be outside. We had the missionaries over for dinner and Ken was bar-b-queing so the girls were hanging out in the back yard. I took a few shots of them playing around and yes Ellie is wearing her Snow hat in the nice warm sun-you probably already know we have clothing issues with her, but nevertheless that is what she wanted to wear.

Up-side down booboot girl

I know some of you are probably wondering what the heck is a booboot? When Ellie was little she affectionately called her pacifier a "booboot" I have not a clue where the name came from, but it was so darn cute that the name just had to stay. Years later we still call it that and now even some of our friends and other family members use that term. Well our sweet Presley will not suck on her booboot the right way, she always has it upside down... hence the name "upside down booboot girl". We just love our little upside down booboot girl.

Music

For those of you who know me, you know that I love music. I love pretty much all types of music and have it on almost all day long. One of my secrete obsessions is when I am in the car all alone I crank up the music like I am some kid in High School and not some mom driving a Mini Van. I just love music. Well anyways I think this might be my new favorite CD. I love the songs on it.

I have one of her songs on my playlist- enjoy.

Scrapbook Room

So here are pictures of my scrapbook room/my sanctuary. I love this room it is my favorite. When I sit at my desk and scrapbook it overlooks into the girls playroom, so while they sit and play with toys, mommy can scrapbook. I love this room!

Girls rooms

Sorry to bore some of you, my friend Mindy wanted to see some pictures of our home. I only took picture's of my favorite rooms. Presleys room is the nursery and I painted the walls and Ken did the molding. This is one of my favorite rooms I love the purple tones. Maci and Ellie share a room with the bunk beds. I can tell these pictures are not showing up the way I want them to so for my scrapbook room I will make a new post.

Super Hero Ellie

Please no Laughing this is Serious. Ellie came to Ken and I the other night and she was like, "mommy, mommy can you put these on my head because I want to be a SUPER HERO!" Like Father, Like Daughter is all I have to say.

ohh, where did I go wrong?

Maci is not a baby!

OK, I'm felling a little old lately. The thing is Maci will be turning eight the end of this year. We are so excited for her to be baptized and she is really looking forward to it. But that's not it. OK brace yourselves... my little Maci wants some grown-up things. Yes you read right, "grown-up things" I can't even type the words. OK this is how the whole conversation went down...

Maci- "Mom I was just thinking that it would be nice if I had a cellphone so you can get a hold of me when you want to."
Mom- "WHAT, where do you go that I don't know where you are?"
Maci- "Well sometimes when I am at school you can call me or something, you can call just to say Hi."
Mom- "Maci you are only seven years old, you don't need a cell phone, I am not giving you one."
Maci- "UGH, fine. Would that be alright if I get a Bra?"
Long Pause...............
Still thinking...........
Calling Father...........
The only thing I could think of was, "Maci you are my daughter there is no way that you need a Bra...end of discussion."

Lately she just seems to be growing up so fast, I am feeling old. Sorry that is two post in a row where I do the whole "oh my baby's are getting so big thing" my babies just need to stop growing.

PJ

Little Presley Jean, aka PJ is in such a good mood today, I just had to pull out the camera and take a few shots, and since I got some good pictures I thought why not put them up on my blog. She is so much fun at this stage and getting into everything, it is just so amazing how fast they grow and what they learn. Right now her favorite thing to do is as soon as we put her down she makes a fast bee-line straight towards the stairs and she can climb all the way to the top. The only down fall is and I do mean down fall is that she does not have a clue how to go down the stairs except to fall backwards. Poor little thing she trys so hard to be big and keep up with her sisters.

Guess Where I Went?

Ok, yesterday finally came. I was so excited, for those of you who don't know I am a huge Bon Jovi fan. I love them! So back in September we heard they are coming to Denver and my wonderful Husband got me tickets for the show. I went with two of my girlfriends and we had the best time, I so want to go again, oh and guess what I actually got to go in the shower with him (don't tell Ken). Yes that is him up above in that skimpy towel and I know what some of you are thinking, your surprised to know that Bon Jovi is still alive and singing, well he is and just as hot as ever(hehehe).
Aubony and Janon, you guys are so great to put up with me and my craziness, thank you for hanging with me and holding me back in my seat.
...oh and Chris Daughtry was their opening act and he did such a great job I loved it, just maybe one of my new favorite bands.
